of Connecticut. Academic Center for Entering Students
The Academic Center for Entering Students (ACES) provides academic
advising for students entering the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
Center for Academic Programs
The Center for Academic Programs (CAP) including Student Support
Services, Upward Bound, Educational Talent Search, and Gear-Up
increases access to higher education for high-potential students
who come from underrepresented ethnic or economic backgrounds and/or
are first-generation college students.
First Year Experience
With an array of courses, a network for personal support,
interactive online resources, and special living/learning experiences,
First Year Experience helps first year and transfer students at the
University of Connecticut achieve Success from the Start!

Peer Education Programs is a collection of campus programs and
